About

Christine works with the body as an intelligent system, capable of reorganising when met with clarity, presence, and respect. Her work integrates manual therapy, nervous system awareness, and subtle energetic perception. Sessions are guided by careful listening — through the tissues, the nervous system, and the quieter signals that emerge as the body begins to settle. With a strong foundation in movement, anatomy, and clinical practice, Christine’s approach is precise, grounded, and responsive. She works with what is present, allowing patterns of tension, protection, and adaptation to soften without force.Alongside her clinical training, Christine’s work is informed by an ongoing Taoist cultivation practice, including meditative disciplines that refine perception, timing, and internal regulation. This cultivation supports how she listens, responds, and maintains clarity within the therapeutic space.Christine’s background includes formal study in exercise physiology and social sciences (criminology), alongside years of hands-on clinical work. These experiences inform her capacity to hold complexity, recognise pattern, and work with the whole system rather than isolated symptoms. Her approach is practically grounded, nervous system–informed, and deeply attuned. Rather than imposing change, she creates the conditions for the body’s own intelligence to lead. This work invites a quieter form of awareness — one that allows regulation, integration, and clarity to emerge naturally.

Session Information

The body communicates across many layers — physical, neurological, emotional, and subtle. This work recognises those layers without separating them.Sessions are not designed to fix or override the body. They create the conditions for the system to reorganise when it is ready. The approach draws on manual therapy, nervous system awareness, and subtle energetic perception, informed by Taoist principles of cultivation — particularly the relationship between intuition and awareness, embodiment and direction. Rather than analysing or directing experience, sessions allow these layers to come back into communication. No single technique is applied. What is present determines the work. Each body carries its own history, pacing, and capacity for change.HOW SESSIONS UNFOLDSessions begin by orienting the nervous system.Touch is precise, minimal, and responsive. Nothing is imposed. The body is met where it is, and allowed to respond in its own way.At times, this may include:- deep settling or stillness
- spontaneous movement or shifts in breath
- emotional response or quiet insight
- a sense of integration or clarity
These responses are not sought or directed. They arise when the system feels safe enough to reorganise.EMOTIONAL & ENERGETIC RESPONSESEmotional or energetic responses may occur, but they are not the goal. From a cultivation perspective, these moments reflect a softening within the system — awareness and instinct coming back into relationship. Nothing needs to be explained, analysed, or worked through during the session. Integration continues naturally afterward.PROGESS & DISCERNMENTThe work is guided by careful observation. When the system responds, the work deepens. When it does not, this is recognised clearly. If another form of care is more appropriate, this is communicated openly and referral is made with respect. The aim is not to hold clients indefinitely, but to work in alignment with what genuinely supports their next step.WHO THIS WORK IS FORThis work is best suited to people who:- are open to meeting the body beyond symptom management
- value subtle, nervous system–led change
- are comfortable allowing the body to lead without constant direction
- are interested in depth, clarity, and integration over intensity
It may not suit those seeking quick fixes, strong techniques, or externally driven outcomes.YOUR ROLE IN THE SESSIONYou are not required to perform, explain, or relive anything. Your role is simply to notice what is present. The session meets you where you are — and ends where it needs to.INTEGRATIONMany people notice changes over the days following a session:- increased steadiness or clarity
- shifts in sleep, breathing, or movement
- a quieter internal landscape
These changes unfold differently for each person. There is no correct response.A CLOSING NOTEThis work is not about intensity, catharsis, or release for its own sake. It is about restoring communication within the system — allowing order to re-establish itself over time. This space is for those willing to meet the body as it is, and allow it to respond when ready.
